This page contains binary image files that allow you to restore your Razer Forge TV’s system image or update it. You will find these files useful if you have used the Android Open-Source Project, flashed custom builds on your device, and wish to return that device to its factory state or update the system image.

These files are for use only on your personal Razer Forge TV devices and may not be disassembled, decompiled, reverse engineered, modified or redistributed by you or used in any way except as specifically set forth in the license terms that came with your device. Also note, that these image files are intended for users that know what they are doing and by using these you are voiding the warranty on your Razer Forge TV.

REMINDER: The following steps will destroy all data on your Forge.

Flashing Instructions

To flash a device using one of the system images provided, you must have your bootloader locked.

Locking your Bootloader

  1. Disconnect your power cable from your Razer Forge TV.
  2. Disconnect the HDMI cable from your Forge TV.
  3. Connect your Forge TV box to your PC via USB.
  4. Connect your power cable to your Razer Forge TV.
  5. On your PC, open a command prompt.
  6. Confirm your Forge TV is connected using:
fastboot devices
  1. To lock your device:
fastboot oem lock
  1. You can now flash your device with a system image.

Installing a System Image

NOTE: Once your bootloader is locked only Razer system images will work.

  1. Download a system image below
  2. Unzip to a safe directory.
  3. Disconnect your power cable from your Razer Forge TV.
  4. Disconnect the HDMI cable from your Forge TV.
  5. Connect your Forge TV box to your PC via USB.
  6. Connect your power cable to your Razer Forge TV.
  7. Connect your Razer Forge TV to your PC via USB (don’t forget to disconnect HDMI).
  8. Confirm your Forge TV is connected using:
fastboot devices
  1. Open command window and navigate to the folder where the unzipped files are located.
  2. Execute the flash-all command
  3. Disconnect your Razer Forge TV
  4. Your Razer Forge TV is updated
